there are two types of policy available to you:
I will be working abroad:
Get a quote for travel insurance that allows you to stay away for extended periods even more than a year and it covers you for working abroad in certain jobs.
I will not be working abroad:
Get a quote for normal travel insurance that has the usual benefits this is designed for people spending not more that usually 30-60 days away, it also offers annual family cover to travel several times in the year.
